I opened up my own studio on April 1st, 1999 and boy does time fly when you’re having fun! We went from the garage to a 6000 sq ft studio in November of 2001. Our studio is on 10 beautiful acres in the big town of Kingston. My staff and I photograph lots of fun high school seniors, weddings, bouncy babies, cute kids, playful pets and lots of sports teams. What’s my favorite? Honestly, I love the variety of everything we do. Print competition is a huge inspiration for me and keeps my creativity flowing. Through print competition I have received loan collection images, a Fuji Masterpiece award the prestigious Kodak Gallery award and Court of Honor for the state of Minnesota. Through my love of travel and desire to teach I have been able to share my knowledge and experiences with other artists all over the country. Having photographed events all over the world, I look forward to capturing your special events in far off lands and here at home. I am happily married to Chris Crayford and we have two beautiful daughters, Nora and Sophie and three black labs, Maggy, Abby and Marlie Moose.

Katie is a graduate of Ridgewater College 2006. After working in the twin cites for a year, she decided to move closer to home and we are very lucky to have her. Katie is a photographer full-time and also helps out with sales and custom orders. Kathy has been here since 2002 and takes care of custom framing, matting, sales, production and customer care. She is very helpful and easy to work with. Salli comes with lots of photography studio experience. She helps out part-time with sales, production, and custom framing. Stephenie is our “gopher”.  If we need anything done, she’ll happily do it. Steph assists photo sessions in studio and on location, does wedding photojournalism, edits all our portrait session images, decorates the studio, keeps the lounge clean and best of all, she keeps the popcorn machine full of fresh popcorn. Julie, otherwise know as “Miss Julie” to her preschool class at Ripley Elementary was Country Gallery’s first real employee back in the summer of 2000 when I couldn’t handle it all by myself anymore.  She comes in when she can and helps with production and sales.
